1️⃣ Identify triggers: pay attention to what situations or thoughts might trigger your overthinking. Once you know your triggers, you can work on minimizing them.
2️⃣ Mindfulness: being mindful and fully present can help you observe your thoughts more effectively. Practice breathing techniques to help bring you back to the moment and calm your mind.
3️⃣ Challenge thoughts: negative thoughts can cause overthinking. Ask yourself if your thoughts are realistic and helpful. Are you perhaps making assumptions? Try and replace your negative thoughts with more helpful ones.
