The biggest thing you can do to improve your chances of getting disability benefits is to get a statement from your doctor that describes your limitations using the same language the SSA uses to describe cases. I provide forms that can be used to get these statements for free. These are just the main reasons why your benefits can be taken away. And of course everybody loses them when you reach full retirement age and move on to Social Security retirement benefits.

If your case doesn’t sound like what I describe here DO NOT give up hope. Plenty of under 50 people with problems with their work history and/or medical consistency still get their cases granted.
