This week honors the expertise, professionalism, compassion and commitment required of doctors in their continuous pursuit of clinical excellence. Nicole is our March Team Member of the Month!

As a member of our incredible Labor and Delivery team, Nicole is clinical nurse in our Mom/Baby unit. She was recognized for providing exceptional care during a difficult situation with a postpartum mom. Her nominator wrote: "Nicole's ability to find thoughtful solutions and offer genuine care made a profound difference. Her actions reflected the heart of collaborative care, and her unwavering support helped transform a challenging night into one of connection, healing and success. How sweet is this onesie? . . . Berry Sweet!

Baby Arabella is modeling the latest in strawberry couture courtesy of our NICU team member, Teresa, who donated onesies to all babies born at SFBH during the Florida Strawberry Festival, including a precious strawberry footprint keepsake.

Thank you to the Florida Strawberry Festival for recognizing the vital role of health care workers during the recent Honoring American Heroes ceremony. SFBH President Karen Kerr, who was honored for her decades of leadership and service to the Plant City community, accepted the award on behalf of the 1,000+ team members, nurses and physicians of South Florida Baptist Hospital.

“To stand on stage alongside our local law enforcement and first responders and feel the gratitude for the important work our health care professionals provide, was really a special honor," Karen said.
