It is with great sadness and many tears that we announce the passing of Dr Guy Markley on 1/24/25. Words cannot express how much he will be missed. His humor, positive attitude, energy and care for the patients will always be remembered. His strength through the last couple of years have been amazing. He had multiple strokes in 2023 and fought so hard to stay with us. He deeply cared for all the patients and the practice was his pride and joy. He was excited every Monday to come to work and always said that was his favorite day of the week. He worked hard but he definitely played hard as well. He loved boating, fishing, flying, and in the last few years, going to North Carolina and "fixing up" old stuff and planting a garden. He's one of a kind and no one can take his place. We will carry on his legacy of care for the patients. Thank you everyone, for your support in this difficult time. We are planning a celebration of life for mid-March that will be held at the office. We will announce the exact date and time hopefully by the end of February.
