I hope this message finds everyone safe and well after the storm. The office is closed Thursday, September 29th. We will make a decision later this afternoon based on road conditions and power coming back on whether we will reopen Friday the 30th. Otherwise, business should resume as planned Monday, October 3rd. Thank you all and continue to take care of yourselves, family, friends, and neighbors. Together we can get through anything.

Fall Fest at the Plant City Community Garden November 6th from 9am-1pm

Join us for a one of a kind celebration of fall! This enchanting event has something for everyone.

This is a FREE event and open to the public. Everyone is welcome in the garden.

Holiday Vendors — Plant Sale — Food Vendors — Children’s Activities — Botanical Garden Walks — Garden Education — Punkin' Chunkin' Action Event (Bring your own Halloween pumpkins for an action packed composting event) — Garden Themed Costumes Encouraged for Children and Adults (Children in a garden themed costume will get a treat from our vendors.)

Held at Plant City Community & Botanical Garden, 2001 E. Cherry St., Plant City, FL 33563. Located on the south side of the HCC Plant City campus.

As you all may know by now, all non-emergency medical care is postponed. That means my office is closed temporarily. Know that I am a phone call away, 813-756-8505, in case of emergency. So many already struggle with PTSD, panic, depression, and anxiety. It may be heightened during this time, which is a normal response to the current Corona virus pandemic and massive world tension. If it is too much, please call and we can sort through what you're feeling and in an as needed, medically necessary basis, do a treatment, herbal prescription, and/or ear seeds. The same goes for pain. If your pain pattern spikes to the point that you would go to the ER, I will help as best I can to keep the load off the hospitals and keep you out of the over burdened ER's. Everyone, please remember that this too shall pass. Life will continue on and we will rebuild together. I am optimistically looking forward to an even better future. I'll see you all again soon. We have adopted a section of the Plant City Commons Community Garden. Our goal is to turn this lovely arbor area into a Zen garden that anyone can come to enjoy some quiet meditation time in nature. The picture attached is the current state of the garden. The drawing is a rough sketch of what we hope to transform the area into. We are looking for volunteers to help donate some supplies or some of their time to this project. Current needs are: 15 to 20 large slate stones or flag stones, gravel for the path, small pebbles for the Zen garden box, 2 outdoor teak wood benches, a wooden Zen rake, and path liners for outlining the paths and Zen garden. We'll post a date for the project once we get some feedback on donations/ volunteers. This is going to be a great way to give back to the community and get back to nature! This Memorial Day let us remember all who have served to protect our freedom. Not only the ones who've passed, but the ones still living as well. Our veterans are a wealth of wisdom and guidance. It is an honor to serve them at the clinic and get to know more about what they endured, sacrificed, and achieved. I am forever grateful to each and every person in our vast military.
