So often our minds rush to the worst-case scenario without hesitation. We play out fears, “what ifs,” and negative outcomes as if they’re the only possibilities. But if you’re going to give space to the worst case, it’s only fair to also imagine the best case… and everything in between.
This is where therapy can help. Talking it through with someone allows you to see beyond fear, to find balance, and to remind yourself that life is rarely as black-and-white as our worries make it seem.
If you find yourself stuck in cycles of worst-case thinking, know that you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out for support is a step toward seeing the full picture — and giving yourself permission to hope for the best, not just fear the worst.
