💬 “You’ve been surviving for so long… but what if there’s more for you than just surviving?”

Maybe you’re exhausted from managing daily anxiety, drowning in waves of depression, or feeling trapped in cycles of trauma you didn’t ask for.
Maybe you’re juggling the physical and emotional toll of chronic illness or silently struggling with disordered eating and body shame.
Maybe you’ve gotten really good at pretending everything’s fine — but inside, it’s not.

At Cogni-Tuitive Clinical Counseling, we specialize in helping you make space for your pain and your healing. We work with adults and teens navigating:
• Anxiety & panic
• Depression
• PTSD & complex trauma
• Eating disorders & disordered eating
• Chronic illness & medical trauma
• Life transitions, grief, & identity shifts
• Relationship and family challenges

Here, therapy is more than talking — it’s rebuilding trust with yourself, reclaiming your story, and learning skills that actually support your emotional well-being.

🧠✨ You don’t have to keep doing this alone. Healing is hard, but it’s possible — and we’re here when you’re ready.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

There will be moments when things feel heavy. When clarity feels far away. But that doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means you’re growing.

It’s ok to not be ok.
It’s ok to change your mind.
It’s ok to ask for help.
It’s ok to speak your truth.

These are not setbacks—they’re signs that you’re honoring your humanity. And in doing so, you’re moving closer to healing.

At Cogni-Tuitive Clinical Counseling, we believe in your ability to heal—at your pace, in your way. You don’t have to do it alone.

You are worthy of peace. You are capable of transformation.

🧠 How Childhood Trauma Can Show Up in Adult Relationships
Unhealed childhood wounds don’t just disappear…
They echo in our adult relationships.
Not because we’re broken—
But because we’re human!

It can look like:
➤ Struggling to trust, even when there’s no reason not to
➤ Becoming hyper-independent—“I don’t need anyone”
➤ Feeling triggered by healthy conflict
➤ People-pleasing or walking on eggshells
➤ Attracting emotionally unavailable partners
➤ Or pushing love away because it feels unsafe

✨Healing means learning safety in connection again.
It means gently rewriting old patterns and creating new ones rooted in self-worth, trust, and love.

You are not “too much.”
You are not unlovable.
You are healing—and that’s incredibly brave.

💬 If this resonates, you’re not alone.
Therapy can help you unlearn these patterns and reconnect with the parts of you that feel worthy of love and safety.
📩 Reach out if you’re ready to begin your healing journey.

“What a beautiful thing it is to feel tired from chasing a purpose you chose—proof that you’re growing, healing, and honoring your own path.” -Anjalie Sukhwa, NCC, LMHC

There’s a difference between burnout and meaningful effort. There’s a difference between exhaustion that drains you and effort that reminds you: I’m doing this for me.

In therapy, we talk about the importance of choosing your path intentionally—and moving at a pace that honors both your goals and your need for rest.

Healing, growing, setting boundaries, unlearning patterns—it all takes energy. So if you’re feeling tired, check in:
🌀 Is this the tired that comes from self-abandonment?
✨ Or the kind that comes from finally showing up for yourself?

Both deserve care, but only one leads to lasting peace.

🌸 Rest is not a reward for effort—it’s a requirement for sustainability. You can chase your purpose and prioritize your well-being. In fact, you must.

Give yourself permission to pause.
You’re still on the path. You’re still doing the work.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

The red poppy, a symbol of remembrance, reminds us of the lives lost on battlefields—its legacy rooted in the poem In Flanders Fields. As we reflect today, may we carry their memory with us, not just in flowers, but in our gratitude and commitment to peace.

Self-care isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Some days it’s yoga or a nourishing meal.
Other days it’s canceling plans, lying in bed, or taking three deep breaths.

That’s the beauty of a Self-Care Menu — it gives you options based on your energy, needs, and capacity in the moment.

This menu is your permission slip to choose what feels supportive, not performative.

You don’t have to “earn” rest. You don’t have to be productive to be worthy.
You just have to be gentle with yourself.

Save this post for the days when you need a nudge toward care — even the tiniest bit counts.

Your body is not a project—it’s a home!
Treat it like your favorite playlist: full of love, no skips, and totally yours.
Let’s rewrite the narrative:

Just “I love my body now.”

You adapted to survive—now it’s time to heal to thrive.

So many of our patterns, defenses, and roles were never flaws… they were survival. They were your way of making it through.

But survival isn’t the destination—it’s just a bridge.

Now, you get to choose a new path. One built on safety, authenticity, and wholeness.
In therapy, we explore who you had to be, and gently uncover who you truly are underneath it all.

You’re allowed to evolve. You’re allowed to grow into ease.
Let’s begin your journey from surviving to thriving.

Diet culture is not just a trend—it’s harmful.

It sets unrealistic body ideals, steals the joy from eating, and can create long-lasting emotional and physical consequences.
From digestive issues to disordered eating patterns and deep-rooted shame, diet culture negatively impacts mental health in ways we often underestimate.

Yes, there are times when dietary changes are medically necessary.
But even then, a compassionate and intentional approach matters. This is where a holistic, functional perspective comes in—looking at the whole person, not just the symptoms. We consider how lifestyle, mental health, relationships, and food intersect.

Healing doesn’t mean restriction—it means reconnection.

You deserve a supportive path that nourishes both body and mind.
If you’re struggling with food, body image, or health-related changes, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can explore sustainable solutions that align with your values and your wellness—not toxic diet culture.

Happy Monday! ❤️

What if we gave just as much energy to the things we love about ourselves as we do to the things we critique?

Let this be your gentle reminder: You are worthy of love — especially your own.
Start by noticing the little things: your resilience, your compassion, your growth.
Let’s shift the obsession… inward, and upward.

There’s so much you can’t control in life—but there’s even more power in what you can.

When life feels overwhelming or uncertain, remind yourself of what’s in your hands.
Your thoughts. Your choices. Your boundaries. Your voice.
These aren’t small things—they’re your anchor.

Therapy can help you reconnect with your power and create a life that feels more aligned, safe, and intentional.

You are not powerless. You are not stuck. You are in control of more than you think.

Let’s work together to help you reclaim that power.
