Ever meet someone who changes the way you see the world?

The “You Should Meet My ___” movement is all about shining a light on the incredible people in our lives who shape our stories.

Talking about mental health can feel daunting, but what if it didn’t have to be? What if it was as natural as introducing a friend, a mentor, a colleague, or someone who has impacted your life?

That’s the idea behind “You Should Meet My _______.”— a movement designed to break down the barriers to open conversations about mental health.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month—is your company ready? Don’t want another boring lunch and learn? Bring a unique and transformative event to your group this May!

This event is all about building bridges—between coworkers, between departments, and most importantly, between humans. We’re inviting teams to fill in the blank:

Our Story

Dr. Mary MW Killmeyer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT 2678) in Plantation, Florida. Mary provides individual, couples, and family therapy, supervision, and consultation using a systemic and relational approach to address your personal goals and needs.

“I appreciate helping my clients by empowering them to enhance their natural skills and abilities to overcome circumstances through positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented conversation. I believe that through the therapeutic relationship, we can better understand and improve our relationships with others and ourselves. I provide services to individuals, couples, and families. I have worked in the community, agencies, private practice, and educational settings. I work with children and adults coping with depression, anxiety, marital conflict, parenting, academic success, stress management, relaxation, as well as life transitions during and after acute and chronic illness.”

Dr. Killmeyer earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Child Development from Florida State University before pursuing her graduate education in Marriage and Family Therapy. She earned her Master's and Doctorate degrees from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Killmeyer is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and a member of the Florida and Broward Associations for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also a member of the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association.
