Tina’s world was turned upside down when her son was diagnosed with severe hemophilia at just six months old. In short order, she went from knowing next to nothing about the condition to actively advocating, educating, and supporting other members of the bleeding disorder community.

Tina was on the Parent Advisory Board at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and along with her husband, shared the title of “County Captains,” local leaders representing their state’s bleeding disorder chapter. When offered the opportunity to work in the bleeding disorders industry, she knew it was what she was meant to do.
