🌏 The view from above, during that tragic moment frozen in time.

🕯 On this solemn day, we pause to honor the memory of all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and to stand with the families, friends, and communities forever changed by that tragedy.

At Celestis, we are reminded of the resilience of the human spirit... of our shared capacity for remembrance, unity, and hope.

🌇 May we never forget.

Saturday is National Grief Awareness Day, recognized annually on August 30. It's a time to reflect on how we all cope with loss differently, and learn how to help yourself and others through the grieving process, no matter what type of loss you've been through.
If you or someone you know is struggling with loss, we offer The 12 Weeks of Peace, a free, online bereavement series available to everyone. https://neptunesociety.com/resources/grief-support/12-weeks-of-peace

"As we celebrate the holidays, remember to share some love and appreciation with the firefighters and police officers who dedicate their time to keeping our community safe — often while sacrificing time with their own families. Stay safe and spread kindness this season!"

Neptune Fort Lauderdale Office Coordinator Shaun Halladey:
"This morning I had to run down to the Broward County Health Department to drop off death certificates, and brought some swag and cookies for the staff.
This lovely lady in the picture is Sabrina, who I deal with on a daily basis. It has been a crazy time for the state of Florida regarding the EDRS (Electronic Death Registration System) since the outage a couple of weeks ago, and we just wanted to drop off a little something to say thank you to their team for helping us out."

An important reminder of how much better families and the community are served when we work together!
