This weekend, we lost our brother patroller, Cole Murphy, in an avalanche incident. The work we do is dangerous, and this loss is a painful reminder of the risks our patrollers face in service to others. We mourn Cole and stand with all who loved him.

RIP Cole Murphy.

It’s that time of year again and we have some banquet photos and awards to share!

Thank you to our banquet committee, led by the amazing Cally, who put on an awesome event assisted by the generosity of Jay, Mount Southington Ski Area general manger, who supplied the food, drinks, and use of the mountain room. We are all so grateful for you all! 👏

🎉Congratulations to the members who received awards:
- Patroller of the Year, Kendra
- Young Adult Patroller of the Year, Nico
- Candidate of the Year, Bella
- Mentor of the Year, Jasmine
- Director’s Award Recipient, Leianna
- Hats for Heros, Cally, Ron, Paula

In addition, Bella was recognized for completing her OEC and OET certifications to become a full alpine patroller and Leianna and James were recognized for completing the Senior OEC, OET, and additional modules required to become Senior Alpine Patrollers.

We also have three graduating seniors, Nico, Jasmine, and Tara, who will all be attending secondary education in the healthcare field.

Congratulations to everyone on the accolades won and another year completed!
