๐What an AMAZING Monday!
March MADNESS is one of my and my family's favorite times of the year. We share the love of basketball, really the love to compete. Everyone has their "thing" that brings them joy, peace, emotion, and togetherness.
Being from CT, born and raised, UCONN has always been at the epicenter of our basketball life. The men and the women's team. How could they not?! Watching last night's epic game against Duke and the "shot" by Mullins to win the right to go to the Final Four...got me thinking...I have been practicing Chiropractic just shy of 26 years! That thought alone is incredible. Sports put such a stress on the body. The reason adults come in to see me is primarily because they played sports in their youth.
Basketball is a long season. It is so hard on the body. All of the joints, specifically the spine, endure huge amounts of compression, torsion, repetition, and playing through exhaustion. You can replace basketball with any sport or activity.
