We are an in-home hospice company based in Plaquemine, LA. We provide services to nursing homes and homes of terminally ill patients.

John and Michael Barbee proudly opened the doors of Comfort Care Hospice in 2006, and this year marks an incredible 20 years of serving the community ❤️

Born and raised in Plaquemine, the Barbee brothers have deep roots in the area and a true heart for caring for local families. Their commitment to compassion and community goes beyond their work; it’s part of who they are.

Both John and Michael are proud dads to all boys.
Michael and his wife, Lydia, are the proud parents of three sons: Gianni, Dominic, and Antonio.
John is married to Alyssa. He has four sons: Collin, Conner, Cruze, and Creed.

Family is at the center of everything they do, and that same care and dedication is what they bring to every family Comfort Care Hospice serves.❤️
