As for me, Sherri, I am still dedicated to helping individuals and families pick out a memorial that reflects their loved one's life. In doing so I have started 'sdk kustomz' - this business will be unique in the sense that we can meet you in person, via telephone or virtually and design a monument memorial, headstone, tombstone however works best for you!! Today, I shut the laser off for the last time and I assembled my last peace light after 29 years. For many of you, this will come as quite the surprise, and truthfully, it surprises me too. There were many factors that lead up to this decision – some personal and some business. I hope you can respect it was not an easy decision, but it was mine to make. The biggest factor was finding the right fit, the right individuals with the compassion to carry on the legacy our family created and make sure they succeed.
Today, Mark & Michelle Mount of Platte, SD loaded up the tangibles to start a new journey of their own. We hope that you will welcome them into the Peace Light family as the new owners and be patient with us all as we adjust to our new roles. Mark has always been a strong advocate for the Peace Light and his passion for the business made this decision easier.
Our office will remain open as we fulfill our orders and jobs that we have been working to complete. We are not going anywhere, just changing things up. We will still be able to help you in designing your memorial or picking out the perfect Peace Light, we just will not be making Peace Lights or ‘firing up the laser’ anymore. Repairs & laser jobs will be handled & completed by Mark & Michelle at their facility in Platte. Stop in and see them on main street in Platte & help give a little boost to their community.
The Peace Light has brought comfort and peace to thousands of families across the globe…the memories, the tears, the laughter, the experiences and the friendships I have gained throughout the years are priceless. I cannot thank you all enough! The tangibles may be gone from the building, but the rest will stay with me forever. I will leave you with the verse my mom lived her life by….TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Changing a few things up... Seeing what the interest might be for yard signs in our area. We would set them up in your yard and remove them 24 hours later. It would be a rental so you don't have to worry about a thing! Below are some examples I borrowed (with permission) from a fellow laser owner. Let me know your thoughts. The cost would be from $65 to $125 depending on what you wanted. We are looking at an August 1st kick off. Thanks!!

Firing up the laser for the NO TOUCH challenge. Keep your hands clean while opening public doors, turning on public sinks and pushing buttons on the ATM, gas pump or grocery store credit card terminal!

This is a lightweight utility key made from acrylic that could easy attach to your key ring, a lanyard or just fit in your pocket or purse. Easily clean with an antibacterial wipe to disinfect after use.

Just finishing up some simple items that will save my friends' ears. The elastic from the face masks start to dig in to your ears makes it very uncomfortable. These simple clips will adjust for a perfect fit! Our large format laser has been sitting idle.. Time to fire it up!!

A big group of these are headed to Michigan ❤️ some to Huron ❤️ a few to Sioux Falls ❤️ and a few to Mitchell ❤️ and love being sent with each ❤️❤️
