Kent mentioned about a March 1st community event at the Platteville library. Club has participated before. It gives good exposure to the club and ham radio in general. Let Kent know if you are interested in participating. Space is very limited for bodies and equipment.

Kent also mentioned that he has handled the 501c3 paperwork in the past, but may be seeking to pass those duties on to someone else in the future.

-Winter Field Day 2025-
Is happening on January 25th. Our event will be inside this year. The club has the welcome center in Prairie du Chien reserved. It stands on the east side of the river, right between the highways. This will, of course, be heated and have bathrooms available on site. The plan is to arrive around noon for setup and run from about 1 to 4. Cleanup will take place from 4 to 5. Keith mentioned that he will be bringing a 40 meter antenna and 3 masts (tripods?). You are welcome to bring cable and an antenna and use one of those masts (tripods?) if still available when you arrive. Hap also mentioned that he has some tripods that he can bring, if needed.

Keith reminded us about the Wisconsin QSO party on March 9th.

Also, the 2nd HVARC hamfest will be held on October 18, 2025. Opens at 8am and testing will begin at 10am.

Let Alvin know if you are interested in soliciting businesses or individuals for donations for the hamfest.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:20pm.
