Prairie du Chien now has a 70cm to 2m crossband repeater into Beetown.

If you are in PdC, we are using 446.450 mhz with a tone of 114.8 simplex. That should make it easy for UV5r HTs to join in the nets!

The 200ft of coax does a lot at the in-between frequencies. The swr isnt actually that good. The cable losses reduce the returning wave so much that it appears to be low swr throughout the scan. While the radio will br happy, the radiating signal will only be decent where it resonates at the antenna. Elsewhere it will just warm the cable.

Thanks to Kent Scheuerell, I have the tri-band yagi that I've wanted for a long time. I'm a little concerned the egg be**er are mounted too close, but we'll know soon enough. Waiting for an RG8x cable to arrive for the 2m egg be**er.
