LIFT connects community members with safe, reliable rides to medical appointments and other essential services. There are no age or income restrictions, and wheelchair-accessible vans are available.

When Ila suddenly became very sick, her parents turned to Southwest Health’s pediatrician, Dr. Jason. From the very first visit, his calm presence and thorough care made all the difference.

Dr. Jason immediately recognized the severity of Ila's condition, and coordinated directly with UW Health to advocate for admission for the care she needed. Even after his full shift at Southwest Health had ended, Dr. Jason made the drive to Madison that night to check on Ila and her family.

This level of dedication goes far beyond what’s expected of a care provider, and it’s the kind of care that makes a lasting impact on both Ila’s health and the confidence of her family.

At Southwest Health, we’re incredibly proud to have providers like Dr. Jason, who remind us every day that medicine is about more than treatment. It's about listening, advocating, and standing together with families when they need it most.

Congratulations to our most recent DRIVEn Award winner, Erin Hesselbacher!

Erin, an RN in the Emergency Department, was recently recognized for the compassionate, thoughtful way she cares for each and every patient.

Recently, Erin went above and beyond to comfort a patient during a difficult visit. She spent extra time and effort to make the patient as comfortable as possible during testing and treatment. Even after the visit ended, Erin continued to check in, demonstrating that her dedication extends well beyond the walls of the ER.

Every dollar raised stays right here in Southwest Wisconsin, benefiting Southwest Health, Grant County Cancer Coalition, Iowa County Cancer Coalition, and SWCAP. Together, we’re making a difference for cancer patients and their families in our community.

As Southwest Health’s Chief Nursing Officer, Brandi Weber leads with expertise and compassion, but her commitment to care doesn’t stop at the end of the workday. Brandi has served in EMS for 13 years, and currently holds the role of Vice President for Dickeyville EMS, providing life-saving care to others in their most critical moments.

Her dedication also extends to local volunteer efforts through HG-IC parish, reflecting a strong connection to both community and service.
