Southwest Health is excited to announce the 2026 Lyle and Lenice Curtis Scholarship application is open!

The Southwest Health Foundation awards thousands in scholarships to qualified students pursuing an education in a health-related field each year.

If you are pursuing an education in a health-related field, check out the application and eligibility requirements. The deadline to apply is March 5 at 3:00 PM.

Congratulations to our most recent DRIVEn Award winner, Nicole Polkinghorn!

Nicole, a Certified Medical Assistant in Family Medicine, was recognized for the compassion and empathetic support she brings to patients when they need it most.

During a recent clinic visit, Nicole stepped in to help a patient who was experiencing an acute mental health crisis. She listened unwaveringly, helped coordinate care in the Emergency Department, and stayed with the patient throughout the visit, even as it extended well beyond her scheduled workday. Nicole’s kindness and understanding made a truly meaningful difference in this patient’s care and experience.

Southwest Health is excited to share that we’ve partnered with a new early-out and collections vendor who aligns with our values and commitment to exceptional patient care. These new partners have strong patient satisfaction ratings and a customer-first approach that supports a better billing experience for our patients.

Effective January 5, statements and online payment portal will change to Rev Cycle Inc. The phone number will remain the same to aid in a seamless transition.

Even as winter settles in, construction continues to move right along on both the Medical Suite and Childcare Center, with exciting progress at each site!

Once complete, the childcare center will provide space for up to 140 children, while the new Medical Suite will bring several specialties together under one roof, helping us better serve our patients and community. Watching these spaces come to life is a rewarding reminder that each day brings us closer to opening doors to these much-needed resources.

We’re incredibly grateful for the teams working behind the scenes and look forward to sharing more milestones as we move along!
