⭐️Intern Spotlight⭐️ Meet Ava Sprague from Hazel Green and a graduate from Southwestern High School. Ava began her internships with her first one at the Markee Pioneer Student Center’s Information Desk. Her first rotation helped her with her insecurity in talking with new people. Ava loved talking all things sports with the college student staff! The staff made her feel welcome and a part of the team. Ava took those communication skills to her next internship at Bridgeway Dining. She met new college students and learned dining room and kitchen skills. Ava kept up with the fast pace and showed much success. Ava is wrapping up her final internship at Greenwood Avenue Marketplace and is very excited as she has secured employment with Casey’s! She will put the many skills she has learned at Project SEARCH into action. Congratulations on a successful year at Project SEARCH, Ava!

Wherever Josh is training he makes friends with his co-workers and the college students. Many fist bumps and high fives are shared between Josh and his campus buddies. Welcome to the 2025-2026 University of Wisconsin-Platteville Project SEARCH cohort. 🧡💙

We have had a crew of interns on campus for many weeks. Before our interns even experience working on campus, they spend the first several weeks together building their team.

Our interns have been:
- Learning about the program and participating in team building exercises in our campus classroom.
- Getting familiar with campus so they can navigate from building to building.
- Developing fabulous relationships while on some fun fieldtrips.

We are excited to share more about their campus experience this year. Thank you to our interns for joining the team.
