September 7th - 13th is , which recognizes the important role assisted living residences play in caring for seniors. This year's theme is "Ageless Adventure". All throughout the week there will be special activities to celebrate our dedicated staff members and the seniors who call Park Place their home, and the week is already off to a great start! Sunday was Grandparents Day with a rousing bingo game and special prizes, and yesterday was a hilarious performance by The Spoon Man with great audience participation!

The apartment folks enjoyed an absolutely delicious Corn Boil on Wednesday night! Everyone brought some of their favorite dishes to pass, and the corn was generously donated by A&W Sweet Corn & Vegetable Stand! Property Manager Jennifer's niece and nephew own and run the stand, and her parents came to help cook the corn. Thank you to all! Afterwards, the fun continued with Corn Trivia, a "Guess How Many" game, and some "corny" jokes!

We've had some truly fantastic musicians come to Park Place recently! Dave and Teresa Moris were new performers - Teresa's mother used to live in Park Place's Memory Care - and everyone loved to hear their talents! Of course, Remember With Randy is always a joy to listen to, and his interactions with the crowd always brings so many smiles.
