Oakridge of Plattsburg

Oakridge of Plattsburg A community owned, not for profit skilled nursing facility. We are a 60 bed Skilled Nursing Facility, located in a beautiful rural setting.

Oakridge is a comfortable, peaceful place to call home, and we strive to make Oakridge feel like home to those that live here. Three delicious home-cooked meals are served daily plus the option to choose from the alternate "Oakridge Diner" menu. Snacks are plentiful if anyone gets hungry between meals or before bedtime. Our activities program is designed for all levels with planned events daily. Scheduled activities include bingo, exercises, van trips in the Oakridge van and many more too numerous to list. We offer our residents free access to in-house satellite TV with our own community channel. Our friendly, caring staff is well trained to meet the needs of our residents 24 hours a day.

To celebrate Valentine's Day, families were asked to send in wedding photos or earlier pictures of their loved one. It was fun to hear the stories of how these couples met, fell in love and lived their lives together. It warmed our hearts to watch our residents look at these pictures with a smile and eyes of love at time gone by.

Bring on the Winter Olympics! We had our own Olympic opening ceremony at Oakridge complete with the passing of the torch. We learned about the Olympic rings and the different sporting events. Our events were a friendly competition of pass the batons and table hockey. We ended the day with some Olympic cookies.

January 9th is Law Enforcement Recognition Day. We want to thank our local law enforcement from many different branches for coming in and talking with us today. It was informative and educational. Let's just say the dogs were the stars of the day. Thank you Merlin and Cedar for sharing the attention. We appreciate all that our law enforcement does for our community. Stay safe out there!
