Adirondack Integrated Wellness, LLC, launched it’s opening in May 2015 @ 135 South Peru Street in Plattsburgh, NY. It is owned by Elizabeth and Billie Pearl - (PT and OT respectively). The Adirondack Integrated Wellness health care model creates opportunities for collaboration of wellness providers caring for clients who seek a more comprehensive approach to their personal wellness. By having a variety of health and wellness providers housed in the AIW facility, clients may choose to participate in additional health improvement services. For some, this opportunity to access other health care services is preferable and may result in greater levels of personal health improvement. Adirondack Integrated Wellness, LCC incorporates a wide variety of independently owned and operated health care providers and services under one roof. Pearl Physical Therapy is the anchor service provider in this health delivery model. They are joined by Florence Reynaud (acupuncture), Dove Phillips (mental health) and Jo Dragoon Morse (nutrition). The establishment of the Adirondack Integrated Wellness, LCC facility is ground breaking and serves as a pivotal change in the health care delivery system model currently in place in the community. Given its unique structure of bringing together a group of like-minded health care providers to offer a comprehensive approach to both community and individual health is unprecedented. That, coupled with already strong communication links back to other health care providers, places the facility head and shoulders above others attempting to provide a similar level of quality health care delivery services.
