We are looking to gauge interest from family members who may benefit from joining a supportive space designed just for them. Caring for a loved one who is impacted by mental illness can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be emotionally and physically challenging.
Our goal is to create a group that helps family members take care of themselves, build connections with others who understand their journey, and feel supported while continuing to love and care for their loved one.
If you think you may be interested, please reach out using the number listed, or feel free to send our profile a private message (PM). Your response will help us determine the need and shape the group in a way that best supports our community’s families.
We look forward to hearing from you and walking alongside you.

We are deeply saddened to learn that one of our longtime NAMI family members has crossed over to the other side. Barbara Perry was an integral part of this chapter for many years. She taught countless individuals on their recovery journeys the WRAP skills that transformed lives, openly sharing her own experiences and insights from living with bipolar disorder.
In the early 2000s, Barbara—alongside our now‑director—also created a teen group that served our community for many years: Club Teen Scene. Through this program, she helped young people struggling with their mental health by engaging them in creative, meaningful activities that encouraged healing and hope.
What Barbara brought to our recovery community was truly a gift, and her impact will be felt for years to come.

Community providers across the county are aware of the dangerously cold streak expected this weekend, and we’re deeply concerned for our neighbors. In response, we are activating the North Country Hub to offer cold weather relief. If you or someone you know needs a warm, safe place to stay, please call the number listed above for location details. Transportation to the hub may be arranged for those in need. As we reflect on MLK Day, we are reminded that progress begins with courage. Recovery is a powerful gift — it is possible, even when the full path ahead isn’t clear. What matters most is choosing to take that next step, trusting that each small move forward brings transformation within reach.

We know how much you care about our neighbors—and we feel the same way. That’s why we worked so hard to make sure this resource would be available this year.
Remember: no one should have to stay in a cold home without heat. If you—or a friend or family member—find yourselves without heat for the night, please know you are welcome to call. We're here to help.
