At The Foundation of CVPH, we believe healthy habits start in the kitchen. That’s why we created Cook With a Doc — a fun, hands-on program where physicians team up to show you how to prepare easy, nutritious meals the whole family will enjoy.

By learning simple, affordable ways to cook, families can build lifelong healthy habits — and even inspire kids to get involved in the kitchen.

Together, we’re making wellness practical, enjoyable, and accessible for everyone in our community.

Girls Night Out is Back is Celebrating 25 Years!

Get ready for an evening filled with laughter, connection, and women’s wellness at our annual Girls Night Out event!

This year’s show, “Resilience With a Side of Humor is Your Superpower,” features stand-up comedian Ophira Eisenberg — known for hosting NPR’s Ask Me Another and interviewing countless stars.

At CVPH, our surgical team combines clinical expertise, compassion, and experience with state-of-the-art facilities to provide the very best care — every patient, every day.

We’re always touched when patients show their gratitude through the Honor a Caregiver program. Recently, one patient made a gift to The Foundation of CVPH in honor of Dr. Zachary Kanouse, MD, FACS after the care she received.

She shared:

“I’m grateful for the excellent service I have received from you. I felt completely confident under your care, before, during, and after surgery. You are always kind, caring, and professional. I am so thankful you are here for me.”

The Honor a Caregiver program offers patients and families a way to recognize caregivers who have made a meaningful difference in their journey. Honored team members receive a personal notification and a “Healthcare Hero” pin — a visible reminder of the extraordinary care they provide.

Meet Maple and Ashe — a brother and sister duo who turned their lemonade stand into something truly special.

After a friend received a comfort item from the Kids Closet at CVPH, they were inspired to raise money to help other children in need. This week, they proudly hand-delivered a check to The Foundation of CVPH to support the Kids Closet and kids across our community.

Their kindness proves that no matter your age, you can make a big difference. Thank you, Maple and Ashe, for spreading joy and hope one glass of lemonade at a time! 💚
