Today, in partnership with the New York State Police and the NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, Pine Harbour staff were guided through a tabletop emergency preparedness exercise. This training was a discussion-based experience, built and planned to be unique to our facility, our residents, our staff, and our community. This experience offered staff, administration, and first responders a sense of preparedness, genuine responses, and steps to take moving foward to ensure best possible outcomes should an emergency arise in the future at our facility.
Invited guests from our community partners were present as well. We’d like to thank the representatives from the New York State Police, New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services, Plattsburgh City Police, New York State Unified Court System, Clinton County Emergency Services, BHSN - Behavioral Health Services North, and Pine Harbour Board of Directors who were in attendance, both observing and sharing their expertise during the training.
We’d also like to thank Whistle Stop Fusion Barbecue & Craft Mocktails for the delicious catered lunch for our guests and staff!
Pine Harbour is proud to be leading the way in Clinton County, NY with a training of this nature at a facility such as ours, recognizing the importance of precautionary measures and education to ensure the safety of all in times of emergency.
💙It’s a wonderful day at Pine Harbour!💙
