                                        UPDATE*
STACY HAS BEEN CHOSEN BY A FAMILY!!!! She will soon be out of here!
*UPDATE 12-14-2024*
Stacy is STILL not adopted?!?!😭 We've learned that she gets along with almost EVERY dog at dog parks! She may not be a fan of cats. We're still not certain. She does fine with the shelter cats, but really disliked the cat at the vets office. She's super house trained, she doesn't tear things up, she's the best girl ever! Seriously the most adoptable dog I know! Make it make sense that she's here!
I just want to add to Stacy's post! A volunteer has been taking Stacy to our local dog park. Shes done FANTASTIC! Not only with his dog, but with every dog that she's met there. She just runs and plays! She gets super excited everytime she sees his van pull in the driveway! So her dog selectiveness seems to really only be at the shelter, which is very normal!
Stacy is the sweetest girl. She gets overlooked, a lot. She's "just another pit bull". That's not her fault. Her story is awful. It doesn't have to continue to be, though. She just hasn't met her people yet! They're out there. Stacy is house trained. Loves all people. Dog selective. And that's ok. You don't like everyone, do you? C'mon, don't lie. 🤭 Shes the sweetest kid! Loves belly rubs and ear scratches. She hates it here. She's starting to lose weight. 😢 If you've ever thought of fostering, this girl would be an excellent starter dog for that! You can take her places on a leash. She's smart, loves car rides. Share this post a million times over, please let's get this girl out of here! 816.540.9109
