Our 2025 Sweet Corn season has come to an end. This has been such a great season in so many ways. As our kids grow, they’re more hands on and it’s so fun to watch them make this into their own. We love this community so much & your support is truly wonderful.
💚💛, The Freed & Henley Family
{We’ve still got eggs, honey, & sweet treats available. Send me a text or call if we can fix you up with those! 816-716-4865, Lauren}

Good morning! We’re open for our final day of the season.
Happy Friday, we’re grateful for that excessive rain 😅 we’ve decided that Saturday 7/26 will be our final day for the 2025 season. We do have some sweet corn available today if you were expecting to grab a bag. Just send me a message and we’ll take care of you.
♻️ We’ll gladly take your old grocery sacks off your hands. You know that bag you stuff all the new grocery bags in.. the one you can’t let go of.. until now 😉

Just here for a mid-season Sweet Corn update! Our 4th planting is almost ready with the 5th following close behind. We’ll check again tomorrow (7/18). I anticipate opening on Saturday but we may have to do some inner field picking so we can open sooner for this bunch of garden pickin’s!

This sweet corn patch was started for our 3 kids, on the same land my grandparents farmed. My grandma, Joan Henley, started a sweet corn patch for my dad & uncle when they were young boys. And my dad, Ron Henley, wanted to create the same legacy for my 3 kids - since we live on their old farm.
You’ll see our 3 kids - Beau, Huntley, & Hank - out here with us all season. We’re so grateful for ALL of our family who help make this successful & enjoyable for the kids. I can guarantee if it’s not myself or my husband, you’ll see my parents, in-laws, or grandma.
We’re located on the north end of Pleasant Hill, MO - 200 E 163rd St. Our address says ‘East’ but you’ll actually turn West from 7 Highway onto 163rd St. We’re a half mile west of 7 Highway, on the south side of the road. You’ll see a red barn out front & we’re the only house on the road. Just follow our signs - I try to make them as visible as possible.
Thanks for visiting our page & we’re lookin’ forward to seeing everyone again!
