I’ve tried a lot of tallow lotions over the years. From various big companies, small businesses and farmers, AND making my own a few times.

But the main reason I just can’t settle on one is because my husband, despite how pure I think it is, says I smell like beef. And usually I say “tough”.
☀️
But sent us their Day & Night moisturizer for our retreat guests and it is sooo good. And I’m not just saying that.
☀️
The other night the husband says “got anything to put on my dry face?” To which I slid him this bottle with a smirk and didn’t say anything. I just waited for his response. The man never knew it was tallow!!!

Which one is your favorite?
Our official retreat photos are back from and they are EVERYTHING.
Limiting it to just a few for a carousel was absolute torture!

Do you want to know how to make cheese?
Sarah from .in.the.west was with us this weekend and shared her DELICIOUS goats milk mustard pub cheese that was soaked in Guinness!
It was so creamy and delicious and a very special bonus that I got to keep all the left overs!
And I can’t get enough of this cheese! Luckily, I will soon be able to have it whenever I want! Sarah will be coming out with a book with all her best recipes soon so keep an eye out!
