Well...I've had a good "break" since closing my long-time business in Pleasant View and am now back at it, folks! Hi, I’m Christie Abbott, a licensed massage therapist with more than 15 years of experience.

I come from a long line of healers, and am proud to be a Native American. I use my Indigenous culture to guide and support my work with my clients. I consider myself to be an “intuitive healer”, meaning I can sense where and how to treat people. These naturally-based methods are a way for me to connect to the person I am working with, and find the right healing approach needed to address their specific situation.

My practice is centered around individual needs. Every person comes in with a different background, with unique ailments, and specific goals for their own health. With such differing factors, each case requires a unique and specially designed treatment. A one-size-fits-all approach is ineffective and dangerous; everyone needs to have a treatment catered to their needs and wants.

I am trained in many modalities, including myofascial, structural integration, and Thai massage. My background includes many professional athletes, primarily NFL players. For many years I was working in Nashville, before I decided to move to my hometown to bring better health and wellness options to my friends and neighbors.

I strongly believe in helping others live their best lives through proper healing. Nothing makes me happier than hearing someone say I was able to find and solve their problem areas that had been bothering them for far too long.

Outside of work I am a mother of four and have one beautiful grandson. I spend a lot of my time learning and sharing information on health, wellness, and natural medicine. These are all a big part of my everyday life and I take pride in following a more holistic lifestyle.

With the proper treatment, you can enjoy a pain-free life with less stress and more mobility. Just as important as the physical side, I also aim to improve and refresh the mind and spirit, as well. My work aims to improve all aspects of wellbeing.

With my expansive experience and wealth of knowledge, I want to help you feel better than you have in years. Let’s find the right path for you to become rejuvenated from the inside out!

Hey, all of you wonderful people. The time has finally come for me to move on to some new and BIG, exciting things in my life for the next chapter. I cannot express how much the last < 8 years of serving this community through my business has meant to me, as well as the 6.5 previous years working in Clarksville. I want to thank each and every person that has walked through my door, and particularly my "regulars", for trusting in me for your care and for helping me to sustain my family while I worked on you! Nothing will ever replace the relationships I have built with so many of you and I hope that you will remember that I am just a text or call away.

That said, I couldn't just step away without knowing that someone else was taking my place! Christie Abbott will now be available at Lock n Roll salon starting Mon. 7/31, and I know that she is ready to take care of you! Ok, dear clients, this “back and forth” on reopening has had our heads in a spin for over a month now. 🙄 Still getting mixed messages from the massage board, as paperwork makes it’s way around. I’ve been glued to group conversations with my massage school and colleagues and weighing out protocols, liability, and how everyone feels about it, and I’ve decided to look more to the end of May/beginning of June like so many others that I know. This is partly also to make sure the reopening “sticks”, as it’s a heartbreak to fill up a schedule and then have to call everyone back.
If things look good after a couple of weeks, I will adjust. I hope that all of you are doing well. I miss you and can’t wait to take care of you again!! Thank you,again, for your patience!! 💕

I’m trying to cut down on the chunk the credit processing fees take out each year, without sacrificing convenience for you. 💕 Cash and check are always welcome, but now there are also easy ways to send money electronically for free. Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, and other means are simple to use and cut out the need for us to have to meet up if you want to just add visits to your account!
To encourage this, from Today until Thanksgiving Day, you can add up to TEN sessions to your account for $45 each if you pay by one of these methods.
From Thanksgiving Day until Christmas, it will go to $49/single or $150 3pack.
