Having numerous chiropractors in her family, including her father, grandmother, and five of her siblings, it was only natural that after years of working in hospitality, retail, and entertainment, as well as being a mom, Anne would find her way back into the natural health world at some point. Working at a natural health clinic in Clarksville for 6 1/2 years as a colon hydrotherapist and licensed

massage therapist, Anne discovered that her own passion for the pursuit of health was deepened by helping others to achieve that goal for themselves. It was very fulfilling work and taught Anne a great deal more about the workings of the body than she already knew from her upbringing and personal research. However, the desire to be closer to home and maintain a better schedule was equally strong, and that desire pushed her to go out on her own with massage in 2016. Anne is very grateful for the reception and feedback she has received since opening up her space inside Lock n' Roll salon. She's thankful to have been awarded "Best in the County" from 2018-2021, and to be chosen as a finalist in 2022 and 2023. Hi, I’m Christie Abbott, a licensed massage therapist with more than 15 years of experience.

I come from a long line of healers, and am proud to be a Native American. I use my Indigenous culture to guide and support my work with my clients. I consider myself to be an “intuitive healer”, meaning I can sense where and how to treat people. These naturally-based methods are a way for me to connect to the person I am working with, and find the right healing approach needed to address their specific situation.

My practice is centered around individual needs. Every person comes in with a different background, with unique ailments, and specific goals for their own health. With such differing factors, each case requires a unique and specially designed treatment. A one-size-fits-all approach is ineffective and dangerous; everyone needs to have a treatment catered to their needs and wants.

I am trained in many modalities, including myofascial, structural integration, and Thai massage. My background includes many professional athletes, primarily NFL players. For many years I was working in Nashville, before I decided to move to my hometown to bring better health and wellness options to my friends and neighbors.

I strongly believe in helping others live their best lives through proper healing. Nothing makes me happier than hearing someone say I was able to find and solve their problem areas that had been bothering them for far too long.

Outside of work I am a mother of four and have one beautiful grandson. I spend a lot of my time learning and sharing information on health, wellness, and natural medicine. These are all a big part of my everyday life and I take pride in following a more holistic lifestyle.

With the proper treatment, you can enjoy a pain-free life with less stress and more mobility. Just as important as the physical side, I also aim to improve and refresh the mind and spirit, as well. My work aims to improve all aspects of wellbeing.

Hey, all of you wonderful people. The time has finally come for me to move on to some new and BIG, exciting things in my life for the next chapter. I cannot express how much the last < 8 years of serving this community through my business has meant to me, as well as the 6.5 previous years working in Clarksville. I want to thank each and every person that has walked through my door, and particularly my "regulars", for trusting in me for your care and for helping me to sustain my family while I worked on you! Nothing will ever replace the relationships I have built with so many of you and I hope that you will remember that I am just a text or call away.

That said, I couldn't just step away without knowing that someone else was taking my place! Christie Abbott will now be available at Lock n Roll salon starting Mon. 7/31, and I know that she is ready to take care of you!
