Pediatric Allergy Testing!
Allergies are one of the most common pediatric health concerns in the U.S. While symptoms like sneezing or itchy eyes may seem minor, untreated allergies can contribute to asthma, chronic sinus infections, and sleep disruption that affects a child’s overall well-being (and therefore the parent's well being!)
Allergy symptoms often mimic colds or respiratory infections, accurate identification is critical for best treatment and resolution of symptoms.
Common pediatric allergy symptoms include:
Nasal congestion or sneezing
Itchy, watery eyes
Skin reactions such as eczema or hives
Frequent ear or sinus infections
Coughing, wheezing, or shortness of breath
Sleep disturbances from congestion or postnasal drip
Common triggers include pollen, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, and certain foods.
Early testing and treatment can significantly improve quality of life and help prevent more serious long-term respiratory complications.
