Our residents took a heartwarming trip to the Valley Humane Society, where they spent time with some furry friends and donated cozy blankets to help keep the animals warm and comfy. 🐶🐱❤️ Giving back never felt so paw-sitive!

Our residents' recent visit to the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District's Japanese Gardens was filled with colorful blooms and lush greenery, making for a vibrant afternoon. We always enjoy taking a stroll through the serene gardens.

Here at the Parkview, we know the importance of maintaining our health and wellness at any age. This is why our Life Enrichment teams maintain a consistent schedule of daily activities for residents to exercise their minds and bodies while also having fun and socializing with one another. From playful games like balloon toss to our regular morning exercise classes, our community always keeps a ongoing schedule of engaging activities.

This past weekend, residents and staff of the Parkview enjoyed a spectacular musical performance by students of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. This organization sends middle and high school students to perform for seniors in their local communities. We're so thankful for the great show and beautiful music!

Residents of The Parkview had a great visit from the local Girl Scouts group. The group joined residents in an art class and painted animal figurines. Thank you to the Girl Scouts for stopping by our community and spending an amazing afternoon with us!

Our community enjoyed a fantastic Summer Luau event last month. Residents and staff experienced a lovely hula performance and a live band. It was a colorful and exciting afternoon for all!

Game on! Our residents always enjoy some friendly competition during our balloon volleyball activity. It's such a great way to be active!

During this month's arts and crafts class, residents painted butterflies and wooden gnomes that they could either take home or place in our community garden for all to see. Thank you to Deborah for leading the class!

Our residents have created some beautiful bouquets during our monthly floral arrangement class. The extra pop of color certainly helps to brighten everyone's day! 💐
