Tip #5 to Balancing Your Hormones And Lose Weight Naturally

Water Water Water

I hear all the time " I know I need to
drink more water but I just forget."

Your body is made up of 80% water. Your body needs water more than food.

Most people are walking around partially dehydrated. If you are only drinking when you are thirsty then my friend, you're already on the brink of dehydration.

Simple way to increase your water:
✅Have a reusable water bottle with you at all times.
✅Put a water bottle
next to your toothbrush and drink it before you brush your teeth.
✅set an alarm every 30 minutes to remind you to drink water.

If you are not hydrated, if affects all your body systems, including your hormones and it will have you feeling tired, achy, confused and having a hard time focusing and having you reaching for less than nutritious foods.

So drink up my friends. Water will also help you feel full and keep you from over eating.

MOVE YOUR BODY 💃🏼

Yes, everyday you should be moving your body.

Leisure walking is a great way to get steady state cardio in that helps regulate
your cortisol levels which is the 2nd hormone that affects fat storage.

While walking won't change your body shape ie: body composition, it
will help you to lose weight, balance your hormones and connect with your Creator.

Walking is one of my favorite things to do and I wake up looking forward to putting my shoes on and getting outside for my morning walk.

I know I know. Everyone says to get
7-8 hours but Carrie I am busy. I have stuff to do and a business to run
and a family to care for. I don’t have time to sleep that much.

Yep, I get it sister, so do I. But if you are not proritizing the key elements that
will help you be the healthiest version of you, you will find yourself wishing you had.

Getting healthy God's way means you are putting your health as a priority.

When you do, you will find yourself making choices that have you feeling energized from sun-up to sun-down vs waking up and feeling like you haven't slept.

How many hours are you getting of sleep per night??

2nd Tip in regulating your hormones to kickstart your weight loss is focusing in on REAL foods.

Fruits, Vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fish, pork, chicken, beef are all natural sources that are more nutrient dense and not calorie dense like processed and refined foods you find at fast food restaurants, packaged foods, etc.

Bonus here: You get to EAT more while still loosing weight or maintaining your weight because whole foods and lean protein give you a bigger bang for your buck.

A whole container or strawberries vs 13 chips....Most day's I will take the strawberries but chips still have a place in my heart. LOL

The principle I use with my clients is: Focus on your whole foods first and use the 80/20 rule.

I don't know about you, but I have had fun this summer and have had more fun foods than I normally would and I am totally ok with that but I also know the lifestyle I have created and for me to maintain it, I need to be mindful as well.

So every quarter I do a jumpstart sugar detox to balance my hormones, regulate my cravings and reset my body chemistry so I can break any sugar addiction and stay in control of my food.

I am a Personal Trainer and Coach with a passion to help dynamic, ambitious and driven faith-based women tap into their inner strength to take the steps needed to achieve the goals they have set. I walk alongside of you and supply you with the tools and resources to set you up for success . I help you to implement simple and effective habits that focus in on your mindset, exercise and nutrition to create a lifestyle and body you love and look forward to taking care of each day. I believe we have been given this one body and we need to take care of it so it will continue to take care of us and all that we are called to do as a mom.
