Loneliness, Hopelessness, Inability to Cope, Pain, Emptiness. Connecting with others and with God can help. Often times though, God can seem so far away in the midst of depression. Our kids, friends, family members need connection with others which I believe will allow them to then consider connection with God.

Anthony Bourdain killed himself today. Fashion designer Kate Spade committed su***de earlier in the week. That's two prominent su***des in the span of just a few days. And they are far from alone, sadly.
