We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with The Peace Haven Freedom Store and Connected Employment to launch an exciting initiative that offers our clients a rare opportunity for a paid internship experience.

This collaboration opens powerful opportunities for our participants to gain hands-on job experience while supporting a mission-driven organization.

The Freedom Store, a Hayward-based nonprofit founded by Shubbie Aishida, operates like a traditional grocery store—with shopping carts, refrigerated items, shelves, and even toiletries—all completely free. Its mission is to provide food, essential services, and meaningful community engagement to individuals and families in need regardless of income or background.

Together, we aim to foster skill-building, empowerment, and inclusion for neurodivergent adults through hands-on learning and community service.

This is just the beginning—stay tuned for more updates on this incredible initiative!

Visiting the Discovery Center at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory was an eye-opening experience. It was fascinating to get an inside look at all the cutting-edge research and groundbreaking work they do there. From developing advanced technologies to keep our nation safe and secure, to making huge strides in fields like medicine and clean energy, the brilliant minds at this lab are making a real difference. The Discovery Center visit really drove home how critical this type of scientific research is for building a brighter future for us all.
