💛 Looking Back at Our 2025 Impact 💛
As we continue moving through a new year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact made in 2025 through love, compassion, and community support.
Because of our volunteers, partners, staff, and supporters, Angels in Motion was able to:
✨ Conduct outreach 10 times per month in Atlantic City, Pleasantville, and surrounding towns in Atlantic County
✨ Distribute 30,000 blessing bags, helping address food insecurity and basic needs
✨ Provide 600 doses of Narcan and overdose education to help save lives
✨ Host Hope for the Holidays, serving over 800 community members
✨ Provide 1,200 rides to treatment, medical appointments, court, recovery meetings, and employment support
✨ Assist 900+ individuals with rental assistance for recovery housing
✨️Recovery Housing Scholarships:
Through the generosity of the families and friends of Timmy Small Jr., Erika Paterson, and Candace Mazza, Angels in Motion was able to provide recovery housing scholarships for individuals seeking a safe and supportive place to rebuild their lives in recovery. These memorial scholarships continue to create hope and opportunity for people working toward long-term stability.
✨️Through peer support and case management, individuals were connected to treatment, housing, healthcare, employment resources, and recovery supports
✨ Deliver 800 care packages to people in rehabs, nursing facilities, and recovery housing
✨ Place 20 individuals into emergency motel shelter
✨ Distribute 800 bus passes to reduce transportation barriers
✨ Provide 561 free haircuts during outreach events
✨ Support 50 families affected by substance use disorder and 10 displaced families with holiday gifts
✨ Host 143 wellness workshops with 600+ participants, including weekly yoga and healing programs
✨️Our Community Wellness Center in Pleasantville also expanded services to 6 days a week, continuing to grow as a safe space for recovery, connection, and support, in addition to food pantry and clothing/toiletry closet
None of this happens alone.
It happens because of a community that believes in people helping people. 💛
