After years of watching every grain of intake, obsessing over inflammatory ingredients, combinations of foods, and just waiting for the stomach ache to tell me if my meal was Grant-friendly… it feels so good to enjoy a healed and strong body. To say savor the last drops to summer with the most un-Grant-friendly double dose of decadence-flavored ice cream and waffle cone, and then go swimming with nary a thought about how my body would digest it.
Digestive healing takes (a lot of) time and never feels like a guarantee. The last few miles has nothing to do with the gut system and everything to do with the mind. But I truly believe that most common issues like , and chronic can be overcome if you’re willing to ‘do the time’ and discover what the root cause of inflammation for your body is.
