🚨 Winter Storm Preparedness Notice ❄️
Our emergency services teams have completed preparations to serve our community during the forecasted winter storm. We ask for your help in staying safe and preventing unnecessary risk to both residents and responders.
Please make sure you have adequate supplies on hand, including vehicle fuel, firewood, medications, oxygen, food, water, and alternate heating sources if possible. Preparing now can prevent emergencies later.
When roads become hazardous, response times may be impacted. While we are here to help in every way we can, the safest choice is to limit travel.

As of this morning, Judge Hart has officially lifted the county burn ban. If you plan to burn outdoors, please do so with extreme caution.

With subfreezing temperatures and potentially hazardous driving conditions in the forecast, emergency response times could be impacted. We ask everyone to be diligent, stay safe, and help us prevent avoidable emergencies.

We have had several calls about the smoke throughout Conway County. Several stations have investigated and it has been determined the smoke is the result of two large controlled burns in western Pulaski County. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will update you as appropriate. In the meantime, if you have any respiratory issues, it is recommended that you curtail outdoor activities until the smoke clears.
