I just returned from three days at Bringing You the Masters, a meeting that brings together many of the most experienced and thoughtful surgeons in facial plastic surgery.

After many years in practice, meetings like this are less about formal lectures and more about the conversations in the hallways, the exchange of ideas, and watching how other surgeons approach the same problems in different ways.

It’s a privilege to spend time with colleagues whose work I respect, to reconnect with old friends, and to pick up the small technical insights that ultimately make surgery better for patients.

And of course, no medical meeting would be complete without returning home with an impressive collection of conference swag—pens, bags, and gadgets that will almost certainly be redistributed to my staff…or my grandchildren.
