See what says about Rosacea-friendly skincare.
Options are all about calming inflammation, protecting the barrier, and choosing ingredients that support your skin without triggering it. Here are some of my go-to picks:
A gentle cleanser is the foundation. Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser is fragrance-free, non-stripping, and ideal for reactive skin.
For hydration, I like Neutrogena Hydro Boost Niacinamide Serum. Hyaluronic acid draws in water, while niacinamide helps strengthen the barrier and reduce redness over time.
Vanicream Vitamin C with THD ascorbate is a great option because it’s a gentler, more stable form of vitamin C.
At night, you can pair azelaic acid with a retinoid:
• Azelaic acid helps calm redness and inflammation
• Avène Retrinal supports skin renewal and texture
Start slowly and always wear SPF during the day.
Daily sunscreen is non-negotiable. EltaMD UV Clear helps protect while supporting redness-prone skin.
Moisturizer matters too. I prefer a calming option in the morning and a barrier-repair cream like Cicaplast Baume B5 at night.
Red light therapy can help reduce inflammation over time, but consistency is key.
And don’t forget hypochlorous acid spray, it’s an easy way to calm skin throughout the day, especially after heat, sweat, or workouts.
