Carole was admitted to AristaCare Meadow Springs following a large parietal lobe infarction that impacted her strength, balance, cognition, and independence. In just three short weeks, Carole made tremendous progress and discharged home.
With the support of PT, OT, Speech and RT, she improved her strength, balance, and cognitive skills, returning to modified independence with ADLs, transfers, and ambulation. She is now walking 500+ feet with a rolling walker, managing stairs, completing car transfers, and even preparing light meals.
Carole’s positive attitude and bright smile made her a joy to work with. We wish her continued success as she continues her recovery at home with family!
