Adolescents attend three group therapy sessions and one family component each week. They live at home and continue attending their school, allowing them to maintain a relatively normal life. We want the teen to apply the skills they learn in the program to real world settings.

Treatment is a collaborative process that includes the teen, their family, and referral sources working together with the clinical staff. The program is flexible and allows for individualized treatment options to ensure the best possible outcome for the teen.

Today I had the opportunity to tour Sunshine Retreat and spend time with Megan, and see some familiar faces.

This property will always hold a special place in my heart. It was formerly Retreat at Lancaster County, where I quite literally started my life and career in this field. So much growth, learning, and purpose began within these walls.

Closing that chapter isn’t easy — but it feels meaningful knowing this space will continue to do what it has always done best: help people heal.
