FluMist is approved for people ages 2 through 49 who are healthy and prefer an easy, needle-free way to protect against the flu.

FluMist is not recommended for children under 2, adults over 49, or anyone with severe asthma, weakened immune systems, or certain medical conditions.
Those with severe egg allergies or who have had a serious reaction to a flu vaccine should talk with their healthcare provider before receiving it.

Great news! WIC benefits in North Carolina will continue during the government shutdown. Families can still access healthy food and support services. 💙

Though the WIC program is not yet fully funded for Fiscal Year 2026, officials have not reported any interruptions in service.
