🌸 Did you know that many women go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed? It’s often because ADHD symptoms can be more subtle and may present differently in women compared to men. This can lead to years of struggle without the support and understanding they truly need.
Moreover, many women find themselves acting as connectors for mental health services—not just for themselves, but also for their families, coworkers, friends, and more. They play a vital role in advocating for mental health awareness and seeking out resources that benefit those around them.
Despite the challenges of navigating ADHD, many women achieve incredible things. They often excel in their careers and personal lives, even in the face of inadequate treatment and support. Your strength and determination shine through.
To the women and girls we see everyday, to the women who connect others to our practice and other services, and to the women who continue to make this world that wasn’t designed for them to have a voice a better place for all we see you and we thank you! 💖🙏
