Some common triggers to keep in mind when dealing with sun downing in dementia care ☀️⬇️

1️⃣ Fading light and growing shadows 🕯️
2️⃣ Fatigue from the day’s activities 😴
3️⃣ Disruptions to daily routines ⏰
4️⃣ Unmet needs (hunger, thirst, discomfort) 🍽️

💡 Pro Tip: If behavior seems REALLY out of character, consider checking for a UTI. It’s a common culprit!

Understanding these triggers helps us create a calmer evening environment and sometimes help avoid sundowning all together!!! 🙌
