We had a great time attending the Culinary Arts Advisory Meeting and Chef’s Table this week Lakeshore College. Our Registered Dietitian, Lidia, and Director of Dining, Andria, were there representing our Dining Services team and supporting the program. 🍽️

One of the best parts was getting to see our own Chef Preston in action. Since he’s also part of the program, it was really special to watch him showcase his skills during the Chef’s Table. 👨‍🍳👈

It’s inspiring to connect with others in the culinary community and support programs that help develop the next generation of chefs.

Caring for an Adult with a Chronic Condition? 🫶❤️‍🩹
You are a caregiver if you….

• Help a loved one with medications
• Go grocery shopping for or with someone
• Take a loved one to doctor visits and help interpret the doctor’s directions
• Check on a loved one’s dietary needs
• Care for someone long distance
• Help with cleaning, laundry, or other home chores
• Provide care for a family member in their home or yours
• Are the primary caregiver for a person in a facility

ADRC of Sheboygan County schedules six week workshop for Family Caregivers beginning APRIL 15, 2026

Powerful Tools for Caregivers, an evidence-based workshop for family caregivers, will be held at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County, 3400 Union Ave, Sheboygan, WI 53081 on six WEDNESDAYS from 10 am - 12 Noon (light lunch is provided) from April 15 to May 20, 2026.

Participants learn to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, better communicate feelings, increase ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.
Space is limited and registration requested no later than Monday, April 6, 2026 (or until filled).

Today we were entertained with song and talent of the Elkhart Lake Public Library Ukulele group. We learned a thing or two about the differences between the sizes and sounds of the ukulele.
What do you call a group of ukuleles? 🎶❓
In their natural state, though, it is accepted that ukuleles inhabit music stores in a row or tight cluster known as "a temptation of ukuleles". Once adopted by a uker, they may appear in: A 'plink' (where two or three novices meet), also known as a 'plunk' in New Zealand.

To Lynn and family,
Our hearts go out to you during such a difficult time. Lois was a a kind women who always took pride in looking and feeling her best. She was always grateful to those who cared for her. She loved her family so much and enjoyed talking about them during visits. Lois was often seen enjoying many of the music programs with her daughter Lynn by her side. 🕊
