On this last day of our month of gratitude, we celebrate our teachers and the connections we have made as a collective group.

“When we first started this co-op and were pondering what it was that we wanted to make sure to put value towards it was not only to give a place to practice yoga for students, but a way for yoga teachers to come together and discuss yoga. To practice yoga. To embody what we preach…to yolk together like the origin of the word Yoga itself. And with that idea we created something called Teacher Club. A time and place allowed for us teachers to dive into a yogic topic…from myofascial techniques, to sound healing, to something as simple as a night time hike under the stars together. It has been something so wholesome to me. Even though I may not be able to attend every one, it’s a place where yoga teachers can connect and discover themselves together. I am so blessed to have gotten to know all these teachers from our Co-op, but even more so grow the connections from teachers all over who just want to learn and expand together.”

We have one more Teacher Club coming up on December 6th at 11:30 AM in Studio. There we will be doing a Kula which is Sanskrit for “community” or “clan”. On that day, we will be able to share our thoughts, stories, and feelings about the closing of the Co-op. We will discuss what are the next phases for everyone and for Teacher Club itself. Before the end, we will wrap it up with a closing cord cutting ceremony as a community.

If you’re a certified teacher and can make it, please come and join us as we would love to see you there.

Today’s gratefulness post comes from our last board meeting as a Co-op. We went out to .billys and wrapped up some final thoughts and shared next visions.

“As we come to the close of our time together as a cooperative, I find myself feeling deeply grateful for the incredible community of yoga teachers I’ve had the privilege to share these past few years with. Each of us brought our own unique backgrounds, educations, and experiences to the table, and together we created something truly special — a space rooted in collaboration, growth, and mutual support. It has been such a joy to learn from one another, to rely on each other, and to create lasting friendships. I’m thankful for every conversation and moment that helped shape this journey into something truly meaningful.”

Today’s gratitude post is in honor of our longest standing yoga teacher whom we all know and love…and quite frankly Plymouth wouldn’t have been blessed with yoga for as long as it has without Kaitlynn. Our Co-op would not have existed if not for her dedication to her students and this practice.

“I’m so grateful for my Thursday night Gentle Yoga Class. This time of year, the evening light fades and the studio takes on a cozy glow. This is the class I have been teaching the longest, since I started with Sue in 2011.

I have taught over 700 [seven HUNDRED] classes on Thursday nights at 5:30pm
Even though it has the same name, the class has evolved a lot over the years. Presently, we have slowed it way down, and I like to think of it as an offering to the self. An offering of space, kindness, or anything else you need to bring you to the end of your day.

There are only 6 Thursday night classes left, and I know each will be special as we close out this chapter.”

Happy November Yogis!

This month the Co-op is practicing a slimmed down version of our most precious online practice

Watch for a post from us every Sunday this month as we share some of our favorite parts about yoga and this time we have shared with you all as The Sheboygan County Yoga Co-op.

We would love for you to continue this gratitude practice either daily or weekly with us!! Mention us in your post and we can share on our story.

This week is a post from our President, our most lovely Jenny.

“I am so thankful for this space. The great vibes, positive juju, the healing, joy, and connection within these walls. What a special community of yogis we’ve been blessed to practice with for the last 12 years. I am so grateful for this space and these people. I will hold so many happy memories in my heart. Thank you Sue Rathsack for creating a studio in Plymouth, to Kaitlynn Kiela for growing that into Plymouth Yoga, and for creating this beautiful space, and for all of our wonderful yogis and teachers who carried it into the Sheboygan County Yoga Co-op. It’s been a fun ride!”

This month is a special month for our Co-op as this time year 4 years ago we officially opened our doors. We have been able to share so many wonderful moments on the mat with you all in this time. The events we have been able to host on and off site. The connection amongst teachers banded together with a monthly club. The select festivals and wellness events we have appeared at. All to give you the beautiful gift of yoga. We want to thank you for allowing us this time and want to celebrate what we had with one last Anniversary Event.

Come join in her last Yoga and Bonfire event of the season for FREE if you are a CSY supporter!! If you’re just dropping in the event cost is $20.

You can sign up online ahead of time on our website at www.sheboygancountyyogacoop.com
Directions on how to get to will be given in your registration email.

Let’s enjoy the crisp fall weather around a fire, doing what we all love…yoga.

See you there.
