I've been blessed as a Family Doctor over the years to be able to care for multiple generations within families. Here are a few fantastic ones (5 generations, 5 generations, 4 generations- not all pictured here, of course). One of the joys of being a family doctor. Relationships.

Congratulations, Seniors! Happy to announce our two high school interns from this semester who each won a scholarship for their outstanding job while at our office. Congratulations Natalie (Plymouth) and Moriah (LaVille)!

The sharing continues to grow!! Thanks, community, for your willingness to help out others. 10 more days to donate - proceeds going to Marshall County Neighborhood Center to help assist our neighbors needing a little extra help right now. We get one can, or one BAG ... people we know well, people we've never met .... and are so thankful for each one!

For those of you who have asked (especially those to the north) who about a DPC model but found out our practice is on a wait list .... here is a fantastic option with two excellent physicians. Schumacher Family Medicine: Hunger Action Month Initiative

September is Hunger Action Month, and as we celebrate the 7th anniversary of Schumacher Family Medicine, we’re excited to give back to our community. This year, we’re partnering with the Marshall County Neighborhood Center to help feed those in need.

How You Can Help:

Purchase Extra Non-Perishable Items: The next time you’re shopping, consider buying an extra non-perishable food item.

Drop It Off at Our Office: Bring your donation to Schumacher Family Medicine between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, throughout September.

We’ll Match Your Generosity: For every non-perishable item we collect, our practice will donate $1 to the Marshall County Neighborhood Center.

At the end of the month, we’ll deliver all collected items to the neighborhood center and contribute our matching donation.

Let’s come together to make a difference in our community! Thank you for your support and generosity.
