Oftentimes, our anxiety shows up as worry. Worry can be useful, but more often than not, it can prevent us from living in the moment and focusing on necessary tasks like work, school, and relaxation. Here's how to tackle your worry and make it work for you instead of against you:

*If your worry is all consuming and running in a constant loop in your head- schedule time for it! "I will worry at 4pm today when I'm done with work- until then I need to focus in this meeting"

*If your worry is based in fear, your fear isn't motivating you, its paralyzing you! Try identifying the real source of your concern. Is there something you can do right now to address it?

*Thinking about our worry over and over doesn't help us solve the problem- Try making a concrete plan!

*Worry that is allowed to live rent free in your head can often lead to bigger issues like panic or sleeplessness. Use a favorite coping skill to help you calm down, this will allow you to re-focus on solutions.

Hopefully these tips can help. Taking concrete action is always the best way to move through worry. As I'm always saying to my clients "Okay, what's the plan??" Any tips and tricks that have helped you move through worry? Share them below! :)

What a gorgeous day for setting some intentions and creating some goals! As I mentioned in my podcast episode this past week, setting and focusing on how YOU feel and what YOU want are the best forms of true self care 📝 link in bio if you haven’t checked it out yet, what are you waiting for??

Too often we don’t stop to think about what we hope to get out of our day, week, or month, so here is my challenge to you. Focus on you today! Start by asking yourself:

What am I going to say NO to this month?
Write a few words that describe how you want to FEEL this week
And finally- set an intention or decide on a mantra that resonates with you, to help keep you focused and working towards your . Let’s get after it!!
