The best part of this week has been being in the studio at different times — early mornings, evenings, and everything in between — connecting with so many of you I don’t always get to see, along with our amazing regulars. It’s been a beautiful reminder of what makes White Buffalo so special. 🤍🦬

Connection feels like medicine right now 🤍

This winter, many of us have been hibernating a bit — physically, mentally, and even in our relationships. And while rest is important, our hearts are meant to be in community, in conversation, in shared energy.

Maybe there’s a sticky conversation you’ve been putting off.
Maybe you’re craving a light chat filled with laughter you didn’t realize you were missing.

Balance feels especially important right now 🤍

When the world feels heavy, we can gently counter it with gratitude—for the goodness that’s already here, the people and places that make up our little town, and the moments we don’t want to rush past.

Get outside. Go for a walk. Come take a class. Soak up the sunshine. Wander the winter festival ❄️ downtown. Have a date night. Meet friends for coffee. Snuggle your babes and watch a movie 🍿.

Yesterday my son totaled his car. Every moment moving forward, I’m choosing not to waste a single second—noticing how grateful I am and what I’m grateful for. Last night I said to Nolan - and felt it to my core, “Buddy I’m sooooo grateful you’re here, on the couch, watching the Wings game with me.” 🥹❤️🙏🤍

This weekend, tip the scale, hug, love, laugh. Counter the heaviness with all the good that’s already in your world. It matters more than ever. 🤍

🤍 Our doors are open this Friday - and here is why🤍

We are living in tender, complex, and emotionally charged times in our country. We want to be clear that keeping our doors open is not rooted in ignorance or avoidance—but in intention.

White Buffalo Yoga exists as a safe haven. A place where people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and lived experiences can come to move, breathe, and ground themselves with care and respect.

And as I’ve reflected more deeply, I want to say this:
Spaces rooted in care and inclusion are everywhere in our community—in local shops, gyms, restaurants, churches, schools, coffee shops, markets like Westborn, and countless small businesses that quietly show up for others. We are surrounded by good people. Really good people.

Our stance is about care—care for our students who have already signed up to come to class to move, breathe, and soften, even briefly. Care for nervous systems that need regulation. Care for connection and community.

Our teachers and staff working tomorrow have each chosen on their own to show up, support, and hold space, and I am deeply grateful for their willingness to do so.

Through asana, pranayama, and presence, we create room to process what’s happening within and around us—so that we may meet ourselves and one another with compassion.

🤍 All classes are FREE tomorrow in honor of support for all—for anyone who has the day off or feels called to move, breathe, and be in community. Just show up tomorrow, our front desk will get you checked in.

✨ Schedule the spontaneity. ✨

Today was a reminder of how powerful those unplanned moments can be 🤍

I had an unexpected 60-minute glimmer with two of our teachers—Leanne and Rebekah—who are also dear friends. It grounded me in so much gratitude for our staff. They’re truly an extension of my family 🫶

I also almost canceled my facial with Ona because I didn’t think I could squeeze it in… and wow, am I glad I didn’t 💆‍♀️✨ That 1:1 girl time completely settled my nervous system.

Those two moments—spontaneous connection + intentional self-care—transformed my entire day 🌿
It’s all a balance. Trusting the internal pings to push or slow down is where the magic and growth live ✨
