❤️ 💐 Dear Ones,

If it were not for all these loving and healing thoughts,
I would never have survived the dark journey of my soul for these last two months.

Thank you all for being the energy that held me in the light.

The day before surgery I walked into my book closet closed my eyes and grabbed a book...When Things Fall Apart...

Little did I know what the future had in store for me.

I must admit I had this overblown concept that it would be a slam dunk.

Colon cancer, right side colectomy, two days, maybe three and then back to my near perfect life.

I was happy, admittedly a bit scared, but okay.

My life was good and I was grateful.

I neglected my training of "don’t know" - fell into chaos and had experiences I could not control.

Life is not perfect. Life is challenging and the journey is a bumpy one.

Pema says, "to be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake is to be continually thrown out of the nest. To live is to be willing to die over and over again."

Sounds dramatic, and it was.

Two abdominal surgeries in 3 days was a hurdle, but love and healing energy from family and all of you gave me focus and courage to hang on.

It was dark and depressing. I got a little lost at times and climbed back.

I am still climbing.

So grateful to not need chemo.

I'm not unique or special. All of you been to the edge and know the curse of Covid and political uncertainty and civil unrest. Things are falling apart for everyone.

I need to find a voice for my new Yoga and find a way for all of us to break out of our isolation and hold one another in the light of a new day dawning.

Please join me as I remind myself and all of us that we are still the Light-bearers. Join me in finding your strength mentally, emotionally and physically. Join me in digging deep to find that well of kindness, compassion and peace for ourselves and all beings everywhere.

My heart overflows with love for all of you and a special shout-out to Sara and Ilene who made certain I didn't starve.

Hopefully we will have a plan for the future in a week or so.

The one thing I know that I need is patience!

☀️ SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION Saturday, June 20th☀️
4 pm until Sundown, 30 Warren Avenue, Plymouth
The Summer Solstice! It’s always been a very important day for me, so, once again, although in a new format, we will have a Labyrinth on my beach at 30 Warren Avenue, Plymouth.

We will not have our circle and we will limit the Labyrinth to four people at a time.

So grateful to the yogis Deb Herlihy and Ken Keohone. They will be drawing the Labyrinth at the early low tide Saturday morning, June 20th and will be there for everyone from 4 pm until Sundown.

All weather permitting.

So, come with a friend or three and stay in your car until the people ahead of you come up. Please bring a donation for the Food Pantry.

I’m hoping Ginny will have a fire where you can burn what you don’t need anymore or ignite a new attitude for the days to come.

There will be myself (maybe) or Eileen to take your donations to the Food Bank.

Remember the Solstice is a time of fullness of growth, a time of gratitude and for many of us, a release from sadness, fears and pain.

The sun almost stands still on the Solstice, the longest day of the year, the earliest sun rise happens.

The summer season is considered
very yin (feminine) and very influential on relationships.

June brides an age old tradition, so I recommend connecting to your SOLAR power...that chakra midway between the lowest and the most divine in us.

May we all open, breathe deeply through that chakra with a sense of joy that allows us to touch our highest potential
mentally, emotionally and physically.
