About Us

Dr. Michael Lawson, D.C. and Samantha Lawson, LICSW chose healing professions not by coincidence but out of love and obligation to serve. They live by the belief that helping others should be a priority and they strive to empower their patients with the tools to become their healthiest and happiest selves.

The scope of chiropractic is as broad as the scope of influence of the nervous system. Although many chiropractors and those they serve tend to focus on disorders associated with the physical body, it is obvious that abnormal nervous system function may also affect emotional and psychological health. Through partnering with his wife, Samantha, who specializes in psychological care, the whole person can be treated through body as well as mind, and truly begin a journey toward wellness.

Although Dr. Michael and Samantha often refer patients to one another, they also have patients separate from one another. New patients are always welcome and seeing both providers is NOT required. Each patient is treated on an individual basis and a personalized treatment plan is created based on the presenting concerns of each patient.

DR. MICHAEL LAWSON, D.C.

Dr. Mike graduated from Life University, a top chiropractic college in the country, where he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.

He found his passion for helping others after he himself was adjusted for the first time by a family chiropractor and couldn’t believe how much better he felt. Wanting to share this with others, Mike found his “why,” through the power of chiropractic.

He believes wholeheartedly in the body’s innate intelligence to heal itself through the power that created it. With the right environment and by removing subluxations in the spine, one’s body can function at the level needed to obtain and maintain a life of function and vitality.

Thomas Edison said, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.” Dr. Mike loves to ski, spend time in the outdoors and travel with his wife and therapy dog in training, Atlas.

SAMANTHA LAWSON, LICSW

Samantha Lawson is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She graduated with her masters degree in clinical social work from Bridgewater State University in 2014 and had been practicing in Atlanta while Dr. Mike completed his chiropractic program.

Samantha has always had a passion for helping others, often visiting various countries to volunteer as well as serving in her own community.

She always knew since she was a little girl that she would do “something big” in this world. Through experiencing the power of helping others to achieve true peace and contentment within themselves through the therapeutic relationship, she knew she found her purpose.

Samantha teaches others how to see their thoughts, actions and behaviors as an area that can be transformed to better match one’s true intentions as well as focusing on the fascinating ability of the brain. Samantha loves animals, working out and cooking healthy meals with her husband and therapy dog (in training,) Atlas.
