Since so many of you have asked after I posted to my story, here’s a little recap of how my aunt got me into the nursing world!

Back when I was in high school, she got me in to shadow some critical care nurses, and I immediately fell in love with healthcare—I knew this was what I wanted to do.

Fast forward to nursing school… Med-Surg 2 almost took me out (if you know, you know), but she was there every step of the way, helping me study and making sure I passed with flying colors.

So when my pinning ceremony came around, there was no doubt in my mind that she was the one who deserved to pin me. Without her, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

And now, years later, the tables have turned—she’s trusting me with her aesthetic goals. Full-circle moment, and I couldn’t be more grateful! ❤️

To my wonderful Veda clients at IHS,

I knew my last day in the office would be emotional but I was not ready for the tears that came today. Words cannot express how grateful I am for each and every one of you. Your trust, kindness, and support have deeply touched me and impacted me both as a nurse and as a person. Every patient interaction has been a gift, and I am so thankful for the memories we’ve created together over the last 6 years at IHS and especially the past 3.5 years with my Veda clients.

A special shoutout to my amazing boss, . Lindsey, your guidance, wisdom, and warmth have shaped me in countless ways. You’ve taught me so much about being a nurse, an entrepreneur, and a loving person. I wouldn’t be where I am today without your mentorship, and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to work with someone as incredible as you. So thank you for taking a chance and hiring the psych nurse who had very little experience with starting IVs. I hope I made you proud of everything we’ve accomplished in the last 3.5 years. 🫶🏻

Though this goodbye is bittersweet, it’s not permanent. This is just the start of the next chapter in my life. But don’t worry, I’ll be back to visit! When I’m in town, be sure to book an appointment with me – I can’t wait to see all your lovely faces again.
