Can a SLAP tear heal itself? The short answer: not fully. Cartilage doesn’t regenerate the way muscle does. The labrum typically requires professional intervention to regain full function.
First step: conservative options such as physical therapy, strength work and maybe injections for inflammation.
If improvement doesn’t show in 3-4 months, or the tear is severe, minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery may be recommended for optimal recovery.

Don’t call them arch supports. They’re so much more than that!
Foot Levelers custom orthotics are built from your 3D foot scan to support your entire body, not just your arches.
They help reduce pain, improve balance, and keep you moving comfortably all day long.
Because real support starts from the ground up!
