When arriving at via Route 130 in Sandwich, our office is located around back.

Enter from Route 130, follow the one-way circle, and you’ll find us next to the Post Office.
Many patients find it easiest to follow the Dunkin’ drive-thru route around the building.

Can a SLAP tear heal itself? The short answer: not fully. Cartilage doesn’t regenerate the way muscle does. The labrum typically requires professional intervention to regain full function.
First step: conservative options such as physical therapy, strength work and maybe injections for inflammation.
If improvement doesn’t show in 3-4 months, or the tear is severe, minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery may be recommended for optimal recovery.
